벳 미들러(Bette Midler) 미국에서 출생한 가수이자 작곡가, 배우, 영화 프로듀서, 사회운동가이다. 대학에서 드라마를 전공한 베트 미들러는 1966년 영화 엑스트라로 고용되어 뉴욕으로 건너오게 되면서 연예계 생활을 시작했다. 1972년 데뷔음반 The Divine Miss M을 발매하여 인기를 얻었으며, 배우로서는 영화 ‘로즈’에 출연 1980년 아카데미 여우주연상 후보에 올았으며, 골든 글로브상을 수상했다. 사운드트랙 앨범 또한 상당한 인기를 얻었다.
